Problems with canceled and broken ICE trains on the Amsterdam - Frankfurt Hbh route on the hottest day of the year, 's Hertogenbosch, Netherlands
's Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. 18 Jun 2022. On the hottest day of the year so far, an overcrowded International train (ICE 153) came to a halt just past NS station 's Hertogenbosch, after it had previously taken over the passengers of the canceled ICE train ICE 255 in Utrecht. Lights and ventilation were turned off and passengers were informed that the train was broken and would not continue. Doors would be opened for fresh air, but no one was allowed to leave the train, as there was no longer a platform along the train.
