Amsterdam, Netherlands. 10th June 2020 :
An estimated 11.500 participants gathered peacefully in the Nelson Mandela Park for the second Black Lives Matter manifestation in Amsterdam. It was the largest manifestation in the Netherlands till now.
The meeting was organized by residents of the Bijlmer, the district with the largest population of Afro-Dutch in Amsterdam. For decades, members of the black community in the Bijlmer have been victim of discrimination, repression and racism.
