Gathering of geese in the polders
In spring, large mixed groups of Brent geese and Barnacle geese commute between the Boschplaat, the Wadden Sea and the polders behind the dike. These herbivores refuel here before migrating to the breeding grounds in Siberia. Along the dike, Hoorn, Terschelling, Province Friesland, the Netherlands.
