Eurasian curlews flying over
A large group of Eurasian curlews flies over. The curlew is predominantly gray-brown, with a white back, gray-blue legs and a very long curved bill. Males and females look identical, but the beak is longest in the adult female. (Source Wikipedia). Photo taken on the Voorlanden of the IJssel after high water. Deventer, Overijssel, The Netherlands.
