Traditional North-Holland farmhouse - close-up
Beautiful traditional farmhouse (building style is called 'stolpboerderij' or Haubarg) with thatched roof and soft-green eaves. A large blossoming tree near the front entrance. The facade of the main house is painted in green and white. The barn has a orange-grey tiled roof. Both barn and side of the house have black-painted wooden walls with soft-green accents. A gate and footbridge over the broad ditch connect the compound with the main road. Schermer-Beemster region, West-Friesland, North-Holland, the Netherlands.
