Crowded birds-isle on the flooded forelands of river IJssel.
A congregation of various species of birds gather on a small strip of dry land in the flooded forelands of river IJssel., with the houses of Deventer (Pothoofd) in the background. Among the birds I recognise Great Cormorant, common shelduck, Eurasian Lapwing, Eurasian Curlew, European Herring Gull and Grey Heron. Photo made from the Forelands of River IJssel after high tide period. Deventer, Overijssel, Netherlands.
