Last Saturday (January 18, 2020) we went under the guidance of Frank Geraedts ARPS and Yvonne Nieuwkerk from 'Better Landscape Photo' with a group of nature photographers into nature reserve The High Fens (Belgium). It was a cold winter day. In the morning we were surprised by a heavy snow shower, which covered the desolate swamp landscape of the high plateau with a thin layer of snow. That disappeared later in the day, and after a grey afternoon with lots of clouds, the evening sun broke through the clouds later in the day. Wonderfully varied conditions for making real wintery landscape photos - and some close-ups / macro's as well. Which, thanks to the extra help and tips from Frank and Yvonne has certainly been successful. Below the result of a strenuous, but beautiful winter photography day.
